Inquiry: My research question:  What is the relationship between students’ participation in athletics and their success in middle school?  Are the results the same for both genders?  If no improvements are seen in the data, should we get rid of athletics to save money? Goal: To provide data to all stakeholders to insure that athletics is in fact a program we need to keep in place.  To show that it does in fact raise grades and improves behavior and that we need to make room in our budget for such programs.
